Everyone can look at the pictures, comment and rate them. Should you notice some incorrect description or naming of the dogs and events shown on the photos, please either email the webmaster or post a comment. If you want pictures added to the gallery, proceed as described below. If you have a suggestion for a new photo category, send an email with your suggestion. Please note that member status is only for specially assigned people who regularly contribute photos themselves and work closely together with the webmaster. Normal users of the gallery won't need member status to enjoy all its functions. In case you experience problems with viewing and using the photo gallery: The gallery needs working javascript and for members it needs cookie acceptance. If you're browsing with a high security level turned on in your Internet Explorer (menu tools - internet options - security - trusted sites:sites) you will need to add this site to the "trusted sites" with javascript on. You can tell your browser to accept cookies from this site, something which you'll need for the forum as well, in the privacy settings (menu tools - internet options - privacy - websites:edit). If you don't see (all) the thumbnails or other graphics on this website, you are running a webwasher or firewall software, which suppresses graphics of certain sizes/proportions. Photo Preparation This photo collection will be constantly added to. If you have historical or recent pictures of Chortaj dogs or related breeds, please send us a good scan or hard copy. We will properly attribute and publish it. Please make sure that each picture has a recognisable name and provide a written description of what and who will be seen on the photos. In case you wish to supply us with artwork, your own or that of someone else, please accompany that with the name and origin of the artist and if available already the permission to publish it on this website.
Scanning for email attachments Scans ought to be done with a solution of 150 to 300 dpi in a 1:1 format, in True Color (32 bit). Do not work the scans! Save them directly from scanning as JPG/JPEG using the highest quality/resolution and the lowest compression. Scanning for CD storage Scans ought to be done with a solution of at least 300 dpi up to 600 dpi in a 1:1 format, in True Color (32 bit). Do not work the scans! Save them directly from scanning as TIF without compression. |
